ya i may be in for that. i am in the tampa area, so its a few hour drive, but if there is enough people there than it would be a blast. here in florida there really arent any good crawling spots. i would prefer to see something closer to orlando than on the other coast, but whatever.

Just some notes about Jetty Park Park Entrance Fee I believe is $6.00 per car there is a lil convienence store along with some restrooms at walking distance and they do have Life Guards on the beach if ya wana swim Also we never really talked about a time. Id personally like to do an early morning run 10:00 am I think gives everyone enough time to get out there and ready.. What do you guys think? Pick of the Jetty |

When you come thru the entrance of the park just stay to the back left of the park were all the ships come thru and walk up towards the only fishing bridge out there as you can see from the pic I posted the rocks will be on your right and the bridge on your left...

double post... i suggest we use the http://www.utrcrc.com/downloads/rules.pdf for rules maybe give or take a few of the body rules and maybe the 2 wheel steer for 2.2 but i could care less i think i probably fit the rules anyway....but i say we use their point system. nice and simple...wow lonely on this board get your lazy asses up and finish your crawlers and get to the comp Last edited by SuperDuty97; 04-21-2005 at 02:43 PM. |

HEy Guys sorry for the late reply , been working on my rigs as well as helping Minty with his. No way for me to make that one I have to work . If any of you guys are interested , there is a new Track that just opened up in Tampa , and the owner is a really big 1:1 enthusiast doing customs and all and is a major R/C nut as well , this being said , he has told us he is building a full on Rock Crawling course at his new site. He already has an Off-road course as well as an on-road course thats in the layout stages . will post more info as it becomes available . If any of you came to the grand opening this past Sat. or saw Monster Patrol doing the car crushing there , then youll know how commited this guy truly is to R/C . Paul |

Mint, what is that like 2 hours tops.............Man thats nothing! I tried to get a group to come down from Atlanta GA, but not enough of us could get time off to do it. We need a little more notice, and we will be there. Looks like a cool spot! Shoot lots of video to get us excited about the next one! | |

I was talking to Fish about just crashing in on you guys...just show up unexpected, whoop up on you guys and leave. ;) Can't justify the one-way 7hr drive (and the gas money) on it though. Need a bigger group. |

Well I just got yelled at by FishMaxx he calls me and says "you Florida boys should just stick to surfing and playing in the mud" and all this time im like were did he get my 16y old sisters cell # so if you ATL boys show up ill have to stick some sea shells up your sea shores blame it on FishMaxx "txtmisery" I also read about some guy in Tampa that just opened a course down there for trucks but I thought it was just for truck pulling.....get some pictures of what those courses look like, id definately be interested in that if they had some nice courses... and as for this saturday SuperDuttty what all are you bringing besides beer? for the comp should I print anything out as far as rules and something to wright scores on or are you taking care of that? w/ all that said I hope everyone comes out from werever the hell you guys are coming from |
