Default The Clown FoFF Rock Racer Project

Here is my truck thats being made up for my mate on here : (monster)]

It will be a a Jeep Wrangler Foff rock racer, based on 'The clown' icelandic racer.

Im going to be using Venom creeper axles on this so that i can choose to lock my diffs or not, perfect for a rock raer ;)

Here is the stages so far that it has been through its still not finished as of yet.

1st the bare chassis inthe begining

Then after that came:

Then a little more work, bearing in mind at this point nothing has been cleaned up.

And now after a little clean up it looks like this, its still not finished but its not far off, will also need paneling.

Craig

You want more replies, get some electronics in it or make it a rolling chassis.

Looks good so far.

you piss me off.....only because I just had this same idea earlier today. And here you are....thinking of it 4 days before me. Great minds think alike, I guess.

This is going to be one of the coolest builds on this forum. I can't wait to see how you set it up. I wonder if it will be like the one that I was envisioning earlier today.

A RC4WD dual dig tranny and a 17 or 12t motor with a no limit esc

Why would you want dig on a formula off-road truck? These aren't meant for crawling.

Any progress lately? You should have posted this in the scale section, probobly get more replies.
I've been intrested in a rock racer lately. I have a pro modified truck right now that was meant for just crawling and now I want it to be more of an XRRA truck. Shocks and gearing and such is what I can't make up my mind on, but I'll figure it out eventually. I thought a front remote locking diff would be cool. So I'd like to get a creeper axle(same ring and pinion as ax10 which is what I'm running right now), OR modify the ax10 axle to house a venom diff and components.
