| The Clown FoFF Rock Racer Project
Here is my truck thats being made up for my mate on here : (monster)] It will be a a Jeep Wrangler Foff rock racer, based on 'The clown' icelandic racer. Im going to be using Venom creeper axles on this so that i can choose to lock my diffs or not, perfect for a rock raer ;) Here is the stages so far that it has been through its still not finished as of yet. 1st the bare chassis inthe begining Then after that came: Then a little more work, bearing in mind at this point nothing has been cleaned up. And now after a little clean up it looks like this, its still not finished but its not far off, will also need paneling. |

| you piss me off.....only because I just had this same idea earlier today. And here you are....thinking of it 4 days before me. Great minds think alike, I guess. This is going to be one of the coolest builds on this forum. I can't wait to see how you set it up. I wonder if it will be like the one that I was envisioning earlier today. |

Why would you want dig on a formula off-road truck? These aren't meant for crawling.

Any progress lately? You should have posted this in the scale section, probobly get more replies. I've been intrested in a rock racer lately. I have a pro modified truck right now that was meant for just crawling and now I want it to be more of an XRRA truck. Shocks and gearing and such is what I can't make up my mind on, but I'll figure it out eventually. I thought a front remote locking diff would be cool. So I'd like to get a creeper axle(same ring and pinion as ax10 which is what I'm running right now), OR modify the ax10 axle to house a venom diff and components. |
