This is a mockup for 15" WB and wide Wraith axles. When stretching WB this far, the MIP CVD's (which I like) need to be 1" longer in the rear. Using CC 550 can I spaced up tranny to fit the high torquer motor, and I like to run 4s on these rigs. Spoke with Brandon @ MIP and this is what he suggested in the Wraith configuration. Part #09169 is perfect matchup using 5mm drive hub at tranny, and 2mm at axle output gear. Some where back in Tools and Procedures I posted this bender to make your own links. It works perfect on the Lunsford Ti Grinder links. You just got to do a little math and calculate rod end lenght etc. Rod ends must be 4mm to fit links. Used RC4WD 4mm bent metal link next to chassis, and Traxxas nylon straight ends at axle mount points. |

If using metal rod ends, be aware that Lunsford links are right and left threaded, as discussed in other threads. That's the benefit of the Traxxas nylon rod ends (thread either direction). Before bending your link, lock tight and snug down metal rod end, and make sure you are bending in proper direction and end is square with bend. This build will hopefully have all components assembled on a BWD chassis that Don @ Billet Works Designs is working on for Waith axles. |

This build has been bouncing around in my brain for about a year. Centered around Wraith axles and Vorza body since conception. Body has the features I wanted: Spaceage curviture , wide to cover a stable, low profile, LCG chassis, built in blast shields, i.e. quarter panels of sort, behind and in front of the beloved "Rooster Tail", and ATTITUDE. Axles for gears ratios, width, strength, scale appearance. Hoping to remove HPI and Vorza decals and replacing with a splash of BWD awesomeness graffiti. By the way I have the MIP summit male bone on the rear of my rig. It has held up great.

Update: BWD Wedge side panels. MIP 4" male spline(Summit). Some Trencher's for general bashing. Need to WP Mamba Esc Water Proofing Electronics. Mount Wraith battery trays on side panels for hardcase 2x2s.
