hello nice build.I'll have to steal the fender mods fron you i hope you don't mine.great i idea.To me,i think this is going to be the next big thing in rc love the concept just like rat rods from the parts bin.. i have ordered lots of stuff to build my Foff and can't wait to get started... i hope all the parts go together well.Just for starters it's going to have AR60 out front and the regular SCX10 diff in the rear...hope it turns out... But i was wondering what would be the frame or kit to start.. SCX10 frame rails or deadbolt frame,AX10 frame.or EXO i have all 3 plus yeti. but just wondering which would be best.. Keep up the good work... OH ya I'll be posting a build on my foff as soon as all the parts come in.... thanks Last edited by rustneversleeps; 04-21-2015 at 07:58 PM. |

Thank mate Those fenders gives it a great scale look. That car was kyosho st-rr when i bought it, it was a roller, so i had to buy all kind of things to it to make it a live again . Brushless motor mount kit and battery strap i bought from dollar hobbyz, electric partrs are from Finnis rc shops. It has a hobbywing 150A esc ezrun and 1800KV ezrun motor. For the start i think i try to drive it with this battery. 3300mah 5S. About the car. It came to me in this condition. Not the prittiest extending, but it works Before i made the cage, i was thinking that i might drive it with the pickup body, hpi gigante fits quite nicely on this, even extended. I also made my team c t8e to a foff I remade those proline sand paw 2.8 tires. I was checking the pit where im going to drive with these cars, but in this point of Finland, we still have some snow in the ground, so i could not went to the pit, so i thought that well, im going to test drive this foff car, what i named a bronco, boringly named by the body on that car, but who gives a shit what is the name of the car anyways Esc is hobbywing sc 120A motor is Tekin T8 2650KV, a bit too much grunt in that engine, i changed it back to the rtr engine what came with this car, i think it was a absima 2300KV motor. But here it how this bronco moves with those remade tires. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmRPwUBz4bQ Here is a short video of the "main" foff car first test drive with the cage on it. One hand on the transmitter and other one is helding the camera LOL... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_xrdZuiKA0 Last edited by finski; 04-22-2015 at 07:25 AM. |

Keep up the good work.. From the great white north...Oh ya we still have snow here to.... |

Yep the fenders look great and would do well to keep sand away also. Hey Rust i don't think you really need an electric conversion kit, i realized making a mount for the brushless motor is way easy amigo. |

What kind of rubber did you use to modify the 2.8 sand paws? Or where did you get it from? I was thinking of the exact same idea and came across your build.
