Thanx.

Yeah.....about the paddles, I don't have dunes around here that I know of. The only decent sized sandy area I currently know of I can't use anymore because it is up for sale. The old owner used to let people ride dirt bikes and stuff on it but the real estate company that owns it now doesn't. I need to find a nice bashing area.

The WB is around 13.5''. I was debating whether or not to cut it down to match the body, but I didn't want to give up its uphill stability.

looks like fun. Would look better with four huge rooster tails. Get some action picks, And let us know how it holds up to brushless power.

I'm trying to do something a little like this.

I've got a Mamba Max w/ the 5700kv motor on order.

I need to lower the truck and stretch it so it is more stable as it runs around at 40mph.

I look forward to seeing your run.

It is a Traxxas Magnum 272 tranny that I took out of my rustler. I put all steel gears inside and switched to a 32 pitch spur and pinion.

They are the Traxxas gears for their VXL line of vehicles. You can go to their site and look at exploded diagrams for the part numbers.

Looks like you are using the traxxas yoke on the trans but what are you using for driveshafts and how are you connecting the drive shaft to the 6mm output shaft of the diff? I have a pede trans I am trying to put into a wk tuber.

I did a similar setup using an MFM chassis with Maxx shafts and a pede trans, works great! I like the lower link mounts on yours, where did you get the channel to make them? Or are they custom bent? Nice lookin' rig

The axles are Maxx/pede hybrids. Maxx yoke and female shaft on the axle side, then a pede male cut off, stuck in the maxx and a screw going through the whole thing, and then a pede female on the trans side so it can still slide.

The channel is 1/2'' from lowes.
