Default tyres

I would like to find a set of tyres that is as big as the bighorns that come on R1 as stock tyres. I just mounted them on the stock wheels and they are quite a bit bigger than the Losis i am using at the moment.

Maybe someone could guide me to some good, big tyres since i dont know what to search for. Only one set comes to my mind....the x locks that come with the bully....are those good?

thanks guys

I ran a set of yellow x locks on my R1 on the week end and they worked really well. The Black onews would be just as good. also look at sedonas, rovers or chisels all will work well for you.

...yeah after posting here i tried to understand the various sizes available through various sites. Apperently i need to look a 5.4 and 5.5 inches diameter tyres.

I have Losi Rock Claws which seems are smaller than the Losi Comp Claws...

thanks....i think i'm going for a set of Rover-EX 2.2 since quite a good number of people praise the performance of these.....

i'll just have another look around before committing to buy though...

i ended up ordering the rovers...the normal ones. The EX is the same but better, made out of softer compound apparently, but were more expensive obviously.

thanks for all the help guys

on another note...yesterday took my kid for some rc crawling and gave him to drive my scx10 mounted the the r1 wheels and tyres. Was quite impressed really....with no weight still managed to do some good driving on the rock....was really under estimating them i think LOL

that's how this whole craze on bigger tyres for me started
