Default Want to buy a Gmade R1 what do I need to fix?

I want to buy a Gmade R1 but heard theres things I have to change like the skid plate, tires, and drive shafts. I want to compete with it to. What else do I have to do to get it competition worthy?

What type of comps mate? Rock racing or crawling? Skid plate and driveshafts can be bought on the Junfac website, both of which are a good upgrade. Choosing a tyre will depend on how you want to use the rig.

I do both types of comps. The tires that I will be running are 2.2 pitbull rock beasts.

Definitely get a set of the new CVD axles for the front, and maybe the adjustable shock mounts and 7-degree c-hubs if you can afford it.

Well I decided to just buy a chassis kit instead of buying a whole kit. So what I did was take my axial scx10 and make a hybrid r1.

Thanks for the complement crawlernut. I hope it does good at the comp tomorrow. Im not to sure if the lightness is going to work in my favor, it barely weighs 4 pounds. But heres the specs, barely 4lbs, tekin 45t with 87t spur 18t pinion with a tekin fxr, airtronics mx3x, stock axial servo, 12 1/2" wheelbase, 1.9 super swamper tsl's on stock scx10 wheels. I think thats it?
