|  How many tooth pinion gear for 45T motor?
Question, I know I need a 32p pinion gear. But what tooth count is generally used on a 45 turn motor? Also, how does one access the classifieds here? I'm hoping to find a used set of beadlocks. Thanks! |

All depends on how fast you want to go. Id think 12-14 teeth. I use a 10 tooth with a 55t on 3s Sent from my SCH-S738C using Tapatalk |

Spur gear size + pinion gives a gear ratio from the motor. More speed = larger pinion and/or smaller spur gear More torque = smaller pinion and/or larger spur gear There is no set size per motor really. If your motor is running hot then you will probably want to go towards the more torque set up. I am running a 12/58 combo with a 55t motor. Speed is ok and torque is awesome. |
