| how tough is the gs01?
Hey everybody just looking for a little information. I have been out of the RC game for a long time and recently decided to get back in it so I picked up a well-used sawback from a friend at work. I put the four link kit on, some no-name shocks on Amazon, some knockoff TSL super swampers, replaced every gear in it (even though the old ones didn't look bad) and made it four wheel steering just for the hell of it. I'm planning to use it as a trail truck/root jumper/ creek runner with either a 21t 550 on 3s or a moderate brushless system. My concern is the ring and pinion gears, they look a bit soft lol. how do they hold up to horsepower over time? thanks |

I beat the crap out of my komodo and saw back and never ran into any gearing issues, rigs were fairly solid, it was the axle housings I kept stripping nuts in Sent from my SM-G975W using Tapatalk |
