Talking RatRC made the G

So I picked up a Gmade Sawback and started to build and mod it slightly right away. I have lifted the drag link on top of the knucles and chassis mounted the Servo. I have some pics here but they are not the best. I will add more later

I added this of my SCX F350 that has many mods for a size scale

I love the looks of the Sawback other than all the bling. I'm a big fan of that color too, love me some orange!

I actually used most of the parts that came with the kit, I noticed the stock servo mount lines up with the body mount screw and the shock mount screw that are closest to the front of the truck. the servo mount is actually upside down. I used spacers behind it to hold it off of the frame. I them used some other spacers that I had to file a flat edge on to drop the servo down. Along with flipping the links to the top of the knuckles and making the steering link go over the leaf was the final step.

Any thoughts about trimming up the front of the body to clean up where the fender and grill lines would be on a real Willys? It looks like there is plenty of material to trim it up.

Hey Rat, did you ever finish the shock relocation? I've always ran my 1:1 with the rear shocks at an angle for less binding when flexing. Interested in what you did.

I did finish it and it worked well. Just did not look that good and then I had other issues come up with the body

I'd like to angle the rear shocks in at the top, but i built my truck spring-under, so there is very little space back there. If you have any pics and you don't mind, let me check them out. You can PM them to me if you'd like.
