Default Head Lights

I found these on Ebay:

2 Pcs High Power 3W White LED Car DRL Daytime Running Back up Lights

They look yellow in the pics but they shine white. Just ream out the proper size holes in the body, insert the light bucket and tighten down the nut. I have not had a chance to hook the wires up yet, but since I am trimming a new body I thought I'd give these a try. Although they don't have the head light lens detail, they fit perfectly.

I forgot to add that they are about $9, shipped, but it took over two weeks to get them.

Looking at the pics now I can see that it might look better to make the holes bigger and try to mount the lights deeper, so that only the outer edge of the chrome shows. I'm not going to risk it with this body until I try it on my original (now beater) body, lol.

The wire just ends. I'm going to solder the wires to the the battery lead on my ESC and they will be on whenever my Jeep is on.

Hey Alpha, howd these guys turn out? I like the simple to install design you found with these.
I just can decide if I wanna go with the buckets or this setup you've got going on. It's like me standing with the fridge door open & cant decide what to eat

I'm sorry to say that I have not gone any further with the body or lights. I've been busy building a 1:10 scale garage and all of my vehicles are in various states of mod completion. I'd have it all finished, but my wife won't let me quit my job.
