Default Steering issue

I seem to have decent steering the the left and a lot worse to the right. It's probably a common poor design issue of some part on these rigs but anything I can do to make the steering better? I've searched and haven't come up with a good answer

You can install G-made R1 gears in the front axle, see jeepiacs great write up in his build thread. I have the chasis mounted servo , R1 gears , cvd's , and the crawlster kit and it works good but I believe it still steers in one direction more than the other. You could also try the junfac zero ackerman steering knuckles for the komodo and sawback instead of the crawlster kit .

New problem: my steering trim is all the way to the right (on my way traxxas controller) but my sawback isn't trimmed far enough. Doesn't go straight.

Sounds like you need to pull off your servo horn and re-center it to begin with. Pull it off, set your trim to zero and then reinstall it as straight as it will go on. Then adjust your steering link so the wheel is more or less straight. Then adjust your drag link so the other wheel is straight. Trim from there.

Use the EPA settings on your radio to adjust total throw in each direction. If you cannot get enough swing, you might need a longer servo horn.
