Default Bought a tow rig for the crawlers, dialup=no

New bright F-150, 16 is inch wheel base and 10 inches wide

Note the size compared to the jeep, this thing is massive!

Hehe
It is going to take some work but I need to make a real chassy for it as well as put a set of clod axles under it and I am thinking about mounting my winch to this thing to take the weight off of the jeep. I also need to fab up a goose neck trailer and hitch but that wont be hard, I might have to make it a dual car hauler :P

Sad thing is it came out of the box damaged so I also have soem body work to do, the hood has a crack and there are some scuffs in the paint so it will be repainted, what color do you think it should be?

not to jack your thread, but....

like this?

for a size reference, that's a 5 foot diameter table.. the wheelbase is correct now, i had to have a piece made to fit. the chassis side rails are a du-bro wing holder (used to be part of the 8x8x8 chassis), esp clodzilla cross braces (the round ones), and a custom made center piece (just 1/8" ally bent to a c shape)

here's the orig clod wheels, and the trailer

i run a 12v lead acid battery, 2 super roosters, stock silver cans and thunder tiger reductions (9t in 9t out for like 400:1 reduction) it will pull over 250 lbs in a shopping cart!

also, ps1 and a 7 inch monitor fit in the bed nicely....

Bigdog, simmilar. The chassy will be stell box tubing and litearlly look like a 1-1 chassy. I dont want it to sit super high as I am going to be trying for a scale looking truck that can be driven on some rocks. 2.2 masher 2ks fit in the wheel wells perfectly but I will probably be using All Ts or swampers.

Lodikrawling I like that green, I might just do that, a two tone black green hmmm

I saw a picture of a touring car painted up in tribal flames with that green and thought it looked sicc. I'll try to find the picture.

If you want realism, go to a Ford dealership an pick up a brochure with the factory colors and pick from there. got a Jugg body painted in a factory sandstone color and it looks sweet.

a friend of mine has a 04 f150 with the southern comfort package. its black like that but with a tan/gold fade from the bottom, with 20''s and a billet grill. looks hot, you should do that. I'll see if I can find a pick of it.....
