Default Narrower or Wider track width for 2.2 comp rigs?

I know this is more a opinion than right/wrong. I'm about to order some new beadlocks for my comp rig. Its a droop blackjack with axial axles and i plan on using masher tires. Would yall like to go wider or narrower? I know wider would obviously make it more stable, but narrower makes it that much easier to get into gates.

Thx

I like my rigs at 10" front and 9.5" rear, and I run sprung. Your droop setup will make the truck more stable anyway, as the CG is lower.

I like my rigs narrow. Wide is just more rig to get threw the gate. I also like the rear narrower than the front for the same reason it seems to track threw the gate better.

Another benefit of a narrow rig is axle clearance. Since the tires are closer together and closer to the diff you will have more clearance when straddling a rounded section or hump.

I run my BJ about 1/2" wider in the front.

I used to run 1/2" wideners on the front of my TLT axles and the 1/4" wider CVD hexes on the rear when I ran Moabs. I have always loved this setup.

Right now I am trying 1/4" wider CVD hexes all the way around. This seems to work better with the shorter Losi Claws. I will then be trying the 1/4" wider front and no wideners in the rear next.

Last thing you need is a wider rear end.
