Default R2+goat gearing ?

So those of you running the R2 tranny and the goat--or a brushless for that fact. what pinion are you guys running? I am running a 12t right now but feel its a tad too high--just wondering what the rest of you might be running..

Spanks

well in my sons rig R2 and a 55t the 12t seems pretty good. But it just seems my rig is too fast when I want it to be,lol.. But I am new to the brushless thing and haven't had alot of chances to experiment with the pinion sizes

the wheelspeed is good. it can still crawl very slow but when you need some umph, it is there.

My Rock Rider (r2 stock gearing+Goat, 7.4v Lipo) is the exact same speed as my AX-10 (stock gearing+Crawlmaster 1000kv, 11.1v Lipo)

Well I tossed in the 8t pinion and yup--it certainly is more controlable at very slow speeds and still has enough boot when needed--thanks for the input guys...
