More volts! I run a 3c lipo, and step up to a 21/81 from time to time for fun. Of course, thats with a 35t motor. Either way, higher voltage is your friend! People say my truck has excessive wheelspeed running 12/87, but I don't think there's such a thing

A common thing for guys running outrunners is to gear down and volt up. That can benefit the brushed guys as well. IMHO,you don't need to gear down with a 55t,they are slow enough. What cell count you running now? A 55t running stock gearing on 8 cells is a nice set up. Far from having high wheel speed, but it'll perform good. If you want more wheel speed than what that offers, like stated above, volt up. A 35t on stock gearing and a 3 cell is a very nice set up for wheel speed, but kindly gutless if you ask me....Stalls out to easily. |

stick with the 14t pinion ...a novak crawler will give you what you want but no drag brake....you got some small wheels don't expect too much....
