| HighLift axles for my new (moon)buggy only one pic for today the start of my front axle with 35/11T r&p steel gears , 6mm shafts , high steering joints ... for 55 or 60* or as much as i can get before the tires hits the links it should be a 2.2 moon buggy style tuber with front and rear offset axles and counter tranny and knuckle packs hope it runs before the Felsenmeer comp Last edited by EGRESSor; 12-07-2012 at 12:18 AM. |

Damn that looks sweet! I saw some pics of a 1:1 Iceland built buggy that had those double cardan type front axles. They have some crazy steering angle. |

double cardans are welded together from some Duratrax parts shafts are stock Clod parts my knuckles with 4 cell 2/3A pack and wheel no wheel design but who cares Last edited by EGRESSor; 12-07-2012 at 12:27 AM. |

Tom, this rig will be 2.2 conform 12.4" wb , 10.6" wide the front axle housing knuckles need some work , some link/shock/servo mounts and ...... Last edited by EGRESSor; 12-07-2012 at 12:30 AM. |

I think they look pretty awesome so far. I know you're gonna bring something far out! I'm just gonna be using my "old" SW2. I'll atleast be the highest finishing American! |

Thats some of the best fab work I've seen on here yet. I love how all you're rigs are really individual. What are thoose axles parts made from it almost looks like Titanium??

Awesome!!! You might have some trouble with the tires hitting the links though! Great fab work, do you have some kind of a jig to keep all those parts strait when welding them up? |

this is a really great start! I'm curious to see how you are going to get the links on without the tires rubbing them. I like your knuckle packs! this is only the second 2.2 I have seen with knuckle packs. x2 on watching this thread! |
