Default HighLift axles for my new (moon)buggy

only one pic for today
the start of my front axle with 35/11T r&p steel gears , 6mm shafts , high steering joints ... for 55 or 60* or as much as i can get before the tires hits the links

it should be a 2.2 moon buggy style tuber with front and rear offset axles and counter tranny and knuckle packs

hope it runs before the Felsenmeer comp

Damn that looks sweet!

I saw some pics of a 1:1 Iceland built buggy that had those double cardan type front axles. They have some crazy steering angle.

I heard this was not gonna be allowed at felsenmeer unless it was driven by an "outsider". I don't know, I mean, I guess I could help you out, if you want. Let me know.

I think they look pretty awesome so far. I know you're gonna bring something far out! I'm just gonna be using my "old" SW2. I'll atleast be the highest finishing American!

Awesome!!!
You might have some trouble with the tires hitting the links though!

Great fab work, do you have some kind of a jig to keep all those parts strait when welding them up?

this is a really great start! I'm curious to see how you are going to get the links on without the tires rubbing them. I like your knuckle packs! this is only the second 2.2 I have seen with knuckle packs. x2 on watching this thread!

What a unique rig.

Can't wait to hear how this steering is gonna work. A front dig with that would be some serious turning
