Default a tuber...finally...

so I had this new FJ40 body lyin around, a bundle of 3/16 steel rod and a new welder...so I had to give it a shot...soon it will have dual FRONT bruiser/mounty axles and a nice 3 or 4 link setup...

was waiting on scale4x4 for progress. glad to finally see it.


now you can gain ur dignity back. cuz thats what all the sh**heads were griping about was that you never built the tuber you said you were going to.

it looks like tangello orange candy but that is a car paint and i dont think it would come out that good

it's duplicolor auto spray paint (it's a nissan 350Z color...I wanted something different)...the body is painted on the outside cause I didn't want it soo shiny (crawlers should not be shiny) thanks for the replies.

i have heard of painting lexan bodies on the outside but never had the guts to try it

you can use regular paint on the outside of a lexan body as long as you spray a coat of lexan paint on as a base..regular paint will stick to other paint but not lexan.

You could always paint the inside with a sliver or grey so any scratches that it gets look like an exposed metal surface.

Just an idea.
