Default First time here, I have some questions.

A friend of mine got me into this kind of cool stuff, I was wondering what kit should I buy that is affordable and can stand water and rock crawling. I did not know some of these kits can stand water? Wont water damage anything? I'm totally new into this stuff.

As far as the mechanical parts go, as long as you dry them out and re-lube the necessary parts, they'll be fine. The electronics are what you need to protect, and unfortunately there aren't any crawlers available with water-proofed electronics out of the box. However, it is a pretty straightforward task to do yourself. A tried-n-true method is sealing the ESC and RX within a balloon. Searh for "waterproofing" or a similar term to find some threads about it.

As for an affordable yet capable rig, I'd suggest the AX-10. They even offer a Ready-To-Run version with electronics already included.
