| ive seen a lot of pics of your guy's rigs with custon cut treads.i was wondering what you use you cut them so clean. |

| yep, you cut the big chunks off with scissors or side-cutters then use a dremel to remove the rest. takes alot of patience. |

| can you just use regular scissors? what kind of bit or grinding drum do you use to smooth it out? |

| I like using body scissors because they seem to be really sharp and easy to get into the tread. I never sand my tires down, so I wouldn't know. |

| ill cut them down as far as i can with scissors and sand a little if i need too. does anyone have any suggestions on what type of pattern to cut out of savage tires? |

| im new to the crawling world also, but with a savage tire id just try cuttin gth efoams in half and go form there, they are a pretty soft tire as it is. and the tread flexes a lot on them any way. just my tow pennies. |

| Right. Use the Savage tires as they are. They work very well.....without foams. |
