Default Wal-Mart Funrise Crawlers

Funrise Toys, who is distributing the Nylint crawlers to Wal-Mart and I had a chat. Seems that there were some normal delays and the crawlers are now expected to be on sale at Wal-Mart during the last week of September, depending on your location etc.

This shows that you should never listen to me! haha
Perhaps another distributor got them to WalMart before Funrise? Not sure. I only posted what I was told.....obviously before I looked at all the threads.

You know...come to think of it: this guy told me that he thought that some Walmarts, Targets, etc might already have them because of multiple distributors. He did say that the 6th scale crawlers would be in at the end of Sept. Maybe that's what I misunderstood....6th scalers at the end of Sept?????? Has anyone seen the bigguns yet?

I heard someone saw the 1/6 Jeep.

EDIT: This is it.

The tires look pretty good, decent compound, (not Masher 2K soft, more like Imex Swamp Dawg.) and flexible. A dual motored, off-road R/C with proportional electronics for less than $100, that's hard to beat. I'd consider buying one but they are just too darn big! In fact, the major hobby quality manufacturers should be ashamed that a toy company beat them to it.

Still no sign of Scorpions, 1/6 or 1/18.

Pete, I've been talking to Mike Seay, the owner of Tactical Vehicles Inc., the 1/6 Scorps were delayed in Customs.

These were supposed to have been on the shelves the 5th of July...both the 1/18 and 1/6 rigs.

Didn't happen that way.

Mike is sending me a 1/6 rig, so I'll have info on that when it gets here.

My local Wal-Marts (4 within spitting distance) all have the 1:6 Jeep (several actually), no Scorp. The 1:18s apparently flew off the shelves and I grabbed the last 1;18 Scorpion they had two days ago.

My 3-year-old daughter, as I type this, is sitting her having a ball driving it around and crawling all over the stuff in my room.

I am thinking really hard about going to grab the 1:6 Jeep and seeing what it can do...

I saw (6) 1:6 scale jeep rock crawlers at a walmart in Salem, Or. They were $149.95 each. (No sales tax!)

How'd ya break it so fast? Do you drive like my daughter...full throttle until it smacks the wall and then you think about stopping.

LOL!
