I'm in the d/fw area of texas and can't seem to find any of these things. I would really like to buy a 1/6 scale jeep this weekend if anyone knows of a wal mart that has them. i thought we could use this thread to list the locations of wal marts that have these and which trucks they had.

two of the walmarts i've been to here in san antonio has them. the one i went to last night had 4.

i picked up the 1/18 scorpion.

The super walmart in Thornton, CO had 3 1/18 jeeps, 2 1/18 Scorpions, and 4 1/6 Jeeps, as of noon saturday.

there are none available in the columbia missouri wally worlds as of this evening, but they did have two (1/18th) so they should order more.

i bet most of these rigs are being bought by people influenced by this forum.

i bet you're right, playswithtoys' vid is what got me to go to wal-mart.

Hampden and Yosemite: 6 1:6 Jeeps, 1 1:18 Scorpion

Aurora:
Smoky Hill and Aurora Pkwy: 1 1:6 Jeep
Chambers and Parker Rd: 3 1:6 Jeeps
Arapahoe & Briarwood: Will check on my way home

I will check the one on W. Colfax either tonight when I go to dinner or tomorrow when I go to dinner. There is also a small Wally World by my moms and will have her check it out for me.

Anyone know of a wal-mart in or near utah that has the 1/18th. The ones in my area only carry the 1/6th.

As the home of the REAL Scorpion, and as the company - http://ScorpionCars.com - who licensed the Scorpion name and likeness to Nylint, we are thrilled to see the Scorpions hitting the stores. The 1/6 Jeeps made it through Customs about one month ahead of the Scorpions.

However, the 1/18 scale units come to Wal-Mart in a two-pack, with one Jeep and one Scorpion per box. We understand that most all stores will be getting a balance of all the models, with the 1/6 Scorpions to follow in three to four weeks.

All Wal-Mart stores are supposed to get them, as they travel through the huge distribution chain. I was standing at the Canton, Georgia W-M tonight and they brought out the first two boxes of 1/18 (four units) that have hit the shelves. Of course, I bought both Scorpions, and left the Jeeps for the Jeepers!

We believe that every single store could have one dozen or more of them over the next month or so, as W-M has placed a pretty large order. Requesting Scorpions from the Store Manager would raise their awareness and help insure that re-orders happen quickly! Since they carry several RC Jeeps, requesting the Scorpion will have more impact.

You may also try Toys-R-Us, as we have had reports that the first ones have hit there also. We will post any info here at RCCrawlers.com as it develops.

Frederick MD has at least 2 1:6 Jeeps. I will check on the smaller ones

Murfresboro(sp) Tennessee has both the 1/18 scale rigs and the 1/6 jeep.

Hopkinsville Kentucky has both the 1/18 scale rigs and the 1/6 jeep as well.

I asked to speak with a manager to request a 1:6 Scorpion. I didn't realize that I was speaking with a manager and "she" said that you cant just request something to be ordered. Her ignorant a$$ just said, "We geet wha we gete, an dats it!"
I stood there in shock :eek:
I guess that is the kind of service I can expect from Wal-Mart :shaking head: A good reminder of why I rarely go there.

Upland, Ca Walmart has a 1/6. Oh wait, not anymore

They do have a bunch of the 1/18th's though.

the westbank marrero superwalmart for people in neworleans had one 1/18 scorpion so the'll have more i would of got it but I got to get my t-maxx running

Dunno many guys in my area but FWIW the West Windsor NJ store has 5 of the 1/6 Jeeps, no 1/6 scorpions, and one each of the 1/18th models. They had some other "R/C rock crawlers" that seemed like junk.

I tried both West Jordan, Utah stores today, no 1/18 but the Jordan Center store has several 1/6 Jeeps. I'm looking for a 1/18 Jeep, so if anybody sees any in Utah post it up! I might have time to check another store tomorrow.
