| Are these ball end's any good?
Ok, well I'm looking for the best "bang for your buck" ball end's. I found these at http://rc4wd.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=175 . Are those any good? Also what I really need to know is do 8 ball ends come for $9.99?? I know it says something about that but I just want to make sure. So I will end up spending 20 plus shipping for 16 of them correct??

Look at the bottom though, it says like "you need 16 of them for a complete truck, so you need 8 more" Or something like that...soooo??

Hold out a little longer. He's got some ultra cheap metal rod ends coming out. They are $2 each with 3mm thread. They are the least expensive metal rod ends you will find.

Kyosho part #1296 plastic ball ends are a little bigger than TXT ends. You get 12 to a pack. The 4mm studs the TXT ends use work great. They use 6.8mm balls which you can get plain or flanged. If you want a huge plastic end, the ones from the Nitro Quake I think it is, are huge. I think I have a comparison pick here somewhere..... top is stock TXT, center is Kyosho #1296, bottom is Duratrax Nitro Quake? Yes, guys have had ball ends pull off their links. |

Thanks alot guy's for the feedback. I think I'll just go with plastic ones then. As long as they are still pretty strong.

Don't play with plastic, get the real deal. $2.55 each and nearly bomb proof for the RC application. Definitly one of the strongest parts on my Twin. I got mine here......... http://www.pitstopusa.com/detail.aspx?ID=6726 |
