Default Maxx's binding?

I mocked in my tranny(AX10) using some spacers to get it the clearance it needs with CDW 6mm outputs and maxx shafts. I only have the front shaft in and rolling it around on the floor fully compress(droop) they seem to rotate fine... but when when suspension is at full droop the yokes seem to be haning up a bit. I've got regular maxx diff yokes on the tranny and 5mm maxx tranny output yokes on the axle. Can I do some shaving on them to help with the binging or are there some other yokes that I can run to help? I can't imagine what the rear is going to be like as it is going to be a much shorter shaft.

Revo shafts have a greater critical angle.

Do they have 6mm and 5mm inputs? I'm no traxxas guy so I don't know.

I'm pretty sure they only have 6mm inputs. Someone needs to make a 6mm axial-compatible pinion. That said, you can drill out the revo yoke and put in a cut down stock one, just like can be done with the maxx axles. You must be running a fairly tall rig, as mine with CDW output front and VF dig rear has no problems at all with my maxx shafts binding.

No not tall at all really. But again, it might just be that I didn't have the tranny in the spot its going to, I was just measuring for driveshaft length and clearance. Will have to play with it again.

I really don't have the tools to hack up the stock yokes otherwise I would have done it.

Ill turn your yokes down for free if you want to do the Maxx shaft yoke mod.

EDIT: Never mind I read it again......you want to shave to maxx yokes down?

They need clearancing or something... might order some Revo yokes for the tranny ends, but I'm gonna have to do something for the axle end if that doesn't solve the binding.
