| Backyard Crawler/Trials course i'm building
Hella all. First post here. Been lurking for a while though. I am a loooong time R/C hobbiest (20+yrs) who is getting into the crawling scene and REALLY enjoying it so far. Well onto my backyard course i'm building. I am trying really hard to incorporate this course into my landscaping so keeping this thing aesthetically appealing is a priority. This is a new home and a new backyard so I started from bare dirt. Anyways here's a few pics. This is about 60% complete right now. What do you guys think? |

I like the bridges. Cool idea. More rocks would help though.

I like it more rock is a good point. I'm really shocked that the border collie leaves the trucks alone mine tries to tear them apart and heard them where he wants them to go lol |

Thanks guys.....yeah more rocks are definitely coming. You would be surprised though how long you can play on just the rocks I have .... yeah my border collie goes insane over R/C cars. It's about the time she won't listen to me.

Very nicely done. You could take some of the boards out of your bridge and make a rope bridge. Or Not, the angle of the bridge can be a challenge by itself.

Very cool, well thought out and something to build on. With our dog, just getting to the bridge would be a challenge... |

Hey Nate, Definitely need to show us what you've added/built to the B.yard. . .Curious and again a little envious that you get away w/so much "Play/Build" time! I only have about 120+/- s.f. for my pile of rock & s**t I have affectionately named the "Rubicon". . .Space was limited due to my 1/8 scale racetrack- I will have to post some pix of both on TG/RCC soon. Anyways- I'm looking fwd to seeing the updated course (thread was a few mo. ago) =trying to bring er back to the surface. . . BTW its cool to see what you were driving back in Oct. and how FAR your rig has come since! $$$ Ru-bi-con= a point @ which any action taken commits the person taking it to a further particular course of action that cannot be avoided. . . (Sorta like our Paychex) |
