very good actually axles are real beefy, i havent found any downsides to the set up besides the shock mounts on the links but i dont thing the will be an issue.

Its a big berg, and that aint a bad thing. My questions are, how are the tires? Are the links solid or hollow? What electronics do you plan on using?

I like what I can see on your body work. Can I see an overall picture of it to get an idea of how the body turned out?

X2 on the bodywork - nice narrow job (I tried once with the same body, it ain't easy!)

Who makes the axles? They look similar to the Raptors I'm using in my Hustler build. Then again they don't.

And yea, I hear you about no love for the supers. It seems to be a dying class. I've always wanted to build one though, and it really does'nt matter much if I don't compete with it...

The clod has the motor jacked up above the axle unlike the berg. The clod chassis is nothing like the berg. Compare the berg chassis to the xtm and they are pretty similar. Compare the link mounts.

Just cause something is MOA doesn't make them the same.

I was thinking about that as well. The way I came up with was to eliminate the shocks and the links.

I got myself an X-Crawler kit and a pimp cane. Should be here any day now. I know I am going to have to custom fab the mounts to the frame, but I got some Ideas for that, shouldn't be hard.

tires look mean but the compund its a little RC4WDish, havent tested them yet, the links are solid SS and my setup is posted at the top^^^

what i did was use 1/2"x1/2" aluminum angle to extend the chassis and mount savage shocks to the axles but i think theres a clerance problem on the motor side at least it will be if you use the cone washers provided with the kit, anyways i decided to leave the chassis stock and go droop with some springs form ACE hardware and 100wt LOSI oil.

ill post pics of the body later on tonight!!!!

it'd be cool if there was a "super specific" chassis that doesnt use shocks- like the zero t.

Cool looking build. I want to know how well those axles work. They look like Raptors and the Raptors are junk. Do you know the gear ratio? Keep this thread going as I am interested in how this kit works. I am building a Rockbull kit and it seems simalar to yours. Good luck.

Build looks great, it's good to see people building supers, looking at those axles i see no easy way to do bta, unless you went through the gearcases..

The gear ratio is 90.5:1
This is good unlike the raptors that need gear reduction.
