Default Axial transmission width

How wide is the axial trans with motorplate? I used to have one and sold it, but can't remember the width.

It's a tad narrower than 3" but not much. I made my frame 3" inside (between the frame rails) to run the ax10 trans. Then ran the R2D, but can always switch it if needed. Why for you ask?
