| Need advice on crawler
Hey guys im new to the rc crawling thing and just wanted to get some advice on a good cheap starter. Im really not sure if im going to do any comp it will probably just be something i toy around with. That being said my friend recently bought a 1/6th scale nylint i have to admit it is very fun to play with. I was just wandering if there is a better crawler for around the same price range or should i try out a nylint first Thanks

If you can get one the Nylint isn't too bad. Do you have any other equipment like radios and such?

The Nylints are fun, but break very easy. The 1/18th's are stronger. I've got 3 1/6th Nylints each one has something broke in the either the front or rear axle. But for the price nothing really is close to those. Best beat would be to watch E-Bay for a Used Ax-10 thats a Roller. Then you can add cheap Electronics. (TQ2, XL-5 or Moped ESC and a Tower pro Servo). I picked up a brand new roller for $145 Shipped. Even came with a few upgraded parts.. |

Well I won the 1/18th jeep nylint on ebay today so I guess that going to be my starter. Considering its $55 shipped i think i got a decent deal. Does anyone know of any immediate upgrades i could do. I have heard of flipping the rear axle around for more clearance. I would like to stretch the wheel base out for sure. Do they sell a kit to do this or should I do a home made one myself? |
