| Who's got their own playground.
Just curious as to what you used for materials and how big you made it. I'm looking at building my own private playground on our property and was thinking on building up some dirt mounds and then covering them ith concrete chunks, rocks and poured concrete as well. maybe even throw in some logs. I built a small obsticle for an Off Road Expo my organization puts on and some of us have used it for RC crawlers as well. That's where my girl and decided to get someof our own. Anyway, if you've got some pics or links of some cool man made courses, I'd be interested in checking them out. |

I built a good size crawling area. Search "Rock Island". Mostly all rock with some "scale" trails mixed in. I have used piles of dirt with imbedded rock to gain some altitude. I also used the grass seed/fertilizer mix to fill in small gaps.

i also built an "indoor course", do a search for my thread. i built "tables" and "ladders" so i didnt have to use so much rock... you wont believe how much rock you need to use to build a decent-sized crawling course! kasper has a killer indoor course as well, look in the regional-section under "wisconsin" and you'll find it there. |
