Default VF/DNA Dig problem. ideas/help plz

hey all, got a VF Dig here. been working fine. but tonight im checking thru things and when its in 4wd mode, the rear seems like its connected via a week set slipper. that is it will turn the rear wheels, but if any resistance is supplied, the rear axle stops spinning. i can see the output shaft is also not spinning at the same time. so its not the drive shaft or anything in the diff/axle setup.

anyone run across the quirk, and what is the fix?
thanx in Advance.

sounds like your servo is not adjusted all the way in, i just had a comp this weekend and i took a pretty good roll down a hill started back up the hill and when i had a steep climb it would skip my rear axle i thought i stipped the rear gears but when i got home and took it apart it was fine all that happened was my servo must have skipped a tooth or something kuz my dig was not engaging all the way so i adjusted it and now it works just fine again, so give it a shot and good luck with it.............P III

its either your epa's or it will do it if your not getting enough juice to the dig servo. Are you running a BEC? My sons did the same thing before I installed a CC BEC. The steering servo would draw to much power from the esc's BEC and the dig servo would not hold properly.

its not epas check them, it is fully engauging. looks like i have a inspection to do this afternoon. will post up what i find out.

i just stuck in a CC MM esc coming from a Goat. My Goat sensor wires started to act up so i stuck in my Mamba/5700 for shits n grins atm. no bec on the CC. but otherwise, the dig servo (ht 255) is working fine. get full throw (can hear the servo working against the bind of setting the EPAs to far. so doesnt seem to be that either.

My first guess would be the set screw that holds the drive plate on the output shaft of the transmission.

other than a bit of bench touble shooting, i stopped running as soon as i noticed something amiss. if this is the problem, it should be fine (outdrive)
