Default Rc4wd R2

RC4WD R2 Black Crawler Transmission with Disconnect X-0361

Wat are the week points to this setup? this seems more logical for my build than the axial trans and dna system.

Hummm....I've had ABSOLUTELY no troubles with mine. Nothing broken and it is quieter than the BM9 that is bolted to it....

Yes it's loud, weak I would have to disagree on, yes the dig only ingages every 180 degrees but ingages everythime unlike the DNA wich tends to pop out under heavy load sometimes.

I thought we were talking about the R2D? That is what I have given you measurements on.

I have been running mine for two weeks and I think it is really strong. I have a 3cell 1350 lipo with mamba max and 75t lathe. so far I have not broken anything. my only problem is I cant get it to unlock from dig without going in reverse just enough to relive the bind on the driveshaft. I am using a hitec hs-55 to power the dig so that could be part of the problem.

How man y of the R2D's have you owned?

I have had more than my fair share of these and have never ever broke any part of them. Yes some people say they are loud and yea they might be louder than a ax-10 but look man these R2D's are all metal gear with a metal case. Nothing there to really muffle the noise. I have used the Rock Jelly in everyone I have owned and they are usually very quiet.

I use a 645mg for the dig on mine and never really have issues with it sticking. Maybe once in a while when it is very boundup but usually a blip of the throttle or a few turns of the wheel and it works perfect.
