| how to make a heat sync for yr motor
find a old computer board with a suitable size heat sync remove the heat sync , this time I had to break the chip off with the heat sync attached. use a heatgun to help remove the chip. find a suitable socket from a spanner set that matches the size of your motor , mount it in the vice and start heating it with the heat gun. use a rubber hammer to tap the heat sync over the socket remove , cool and check for size , make minor adjustments if necessary , drill holes for mounting add some computer heat sync compound to take up any space , spread the compound evenly across the surface male a bracket to go under the motor , or some way to attach the sync. fit the sync and your are all done. |
