Default Link Ends

I bent the bic pen in my rear suspension and my immediate thought was to just replace it with a solid aluminum rod. But after a little thought I remember this was a toy to build so I want to build a 4 link for the frotn and rear(I realize the shocks will still limit ravel, but I have a plan for that already). So Im planning to use aluminum rod from OSH, but I need to figure out what ends to use on the links. I have a bunch of 1/4" heims but they are stiff and will never articulate with this light rig. Anybody have a online hobby shop with something like Im looking for?

Most excellent, what is the OD of a stock Traxxas link so I can get the right aluminum rod? Also are they designed to be screwed on? If so can I just epoxy them on?

they're designed to be screwed on, and they're supposed to thread onto 6-32 treaded rod if that helps any.

You can actually use 4-40 rod on the untapped rods (first link). Outer diameter looks plenty good with 1/4". Thats the combo I used here, 4-40 threaded rod and 1/4" stand offs:

I don't really care how it looks in the end, I just want some durable links. I don't want to bend them each time out. So use a threaded rod center and a hollow sleeve?
