I'm starting a thread to show the mods I do to mine. I want it to look as close to my 1:1 as possible. I've only so far chromed my roll bar and stinger.(I don't have chrome roll bar and stinger on my 1:1, but I thought it'd be funny/different to do it to my 1:6) I also put chrome behind the head lights to give it a real headlight look. I also mimmicked the chrome bezel/ring right in front of the headlights. Tomorrow I am gettin the stuff to paint it and led lights, so I'll post up how that goes/looks when done. Here's a couple pics of how it looks now...also if you look close, you can see I also chromed the arms/links. Last edited by Deviljeep; 09-07-2005 at 10:27 AM. |

Cool. Did you use the same tail lights I used on the 1:18? |

I think so...but on the 1:6 there is enough room behind the taillights for the leds to fit. So I drilled the hole, stabbed the leds in and popped the lens/taillight back on over the leds...Pretty cool. I wheeled it at night, and it was awesome. But now I need rocklights! |

I hooked up some bling gauges... I'll try and get better pics. I had trouble w/ the lighting I had. I took parts from the remote to make these. |
