Default Indoor course

Hey, guys ive been thinking of making an indoor course out of pre-formed ponds like these.

My thoughts were to just buy a bunch and screw them to a peace of wood, but sence they are plastic i dont think i will get very much traction. So what would be good to use for traction should i just spray some glue down and put some sand on it. I want to try and keep it looking naturalish. Ill probly buy some fake bushes and stuff like that.

NOTE: These are not my photos i take no cedit of these. they are from
rubiredunlmtd's photobucket account sorry for using them can remove if you want

i was thinking bout ding the same thing only using cheap fiberglass resin to adhere sand to the pond. then paint afterwards with some sandstone and limestone colored paint. just got to remember where i saw the paint at.

I would check out a company that does spray-on bed liners for trucks. It's super durable, washable, and available in tons of colors. Plus there are many texture options from really rubbery and gritty to more plasticy and smooth thus giving your indoor course different traction surfaces for more difficulty.

maybe a sears rubberized basement paint (gets like 1/8th inch thick) followed up by Sand and some larger grains of crushed rock or something?

I would suggest looking in the yellow pages or google for "spray-on bed liners" or ask a truck customizing shop in your area.
