Default first time.

well i took my crawler out to the rocks for the first time today.
on the rocks lots of wheel spin.
the tires i was useing were the stock ones that came wirh the axial a10 kit.
or maby it was to much throttle making the wheels spinon the rocks.
i tried it on the cement steps and curb in front of my house and it climed those like an old Buick.
it was fun though.
the rocks were in a drainage ditch and it was damp and gloomey out.any suggestiond.
thx Dirby.

The stock tires aren't bad, but there are a lot better tires out there. I found out on Friday that getting them wet is bad, might as well try to climb with a set of drag racing slicks.

IMO the Kit tires SUCK, I have Flat Iron M3s and they SUCK but they don't suck nearly as bad as the Stock rock lizzards. I have heard good things about Cougars and Losi Rock claws, but have never tried them myself.

ya if your taling the Lizards in th green kit, they are ok but not that great once on some real and bigger rocks.

check out a seto f losi carvers, or rock claws, proline hammers, or badlands? maybe Rovers from HPI or the Hot Bodies tires look good.

or the panters would be good. if you go with a proline, get them in the new G8 compound.

If you are just bashing around any aftermarket tire will help. The top competition tires right now are always debatable. Check out the reviews in the tires section. HB Rovers, HPI Grabbers, Losi Rock Claws, Proline Hammers and Chisles, Panther Cougars. It depends alot on the type of rocks you crawl and yout rig setup which ones will work best. Start with a set of proline Hammers in G8 compound and work around from there.
