| best axles to use on a e-maxx
I'm new to the boards and after racing st's for a while (had a Rustler and T3), i've got bitten buy the crawler bug. I plan on buying an e-maxx, and turning it into a solid axle rig. My question is, whats the best set of axles to use? I have never done any custom fab work, so thats out of the question. Should I use Clod, X-factor, and Mad Force axles? Thanks for all the help. One more question, how would I go about 4 linking the suspenion? |

why not just buy a solid axle truck and build from that chassis.

I agree,if you don't want to fab up some Maxx solid axles, just buy a solid axle truck. I had an E-maxx and gave that to my son and bought a Twin Force for my build. I basically went that way cause I wanted a quick build up with minimal fabbing. Building Maxx solid axles has it's benifits but it takes a good bit of fab work. I'm very happy with my Twin/Mad force axles. I've just about got my Twin done and have plans to build another shortly. This time I wanna take my time and build something with some better ideas I've gotten. Personally I'd recommend Twin/Mad force axles and then X-factor but I'm kinda biased. I know alot of guys here use and like X-factor axles alot. |
