Default 90 degree gear box for 540 motor?

I'm looking for a 90 degree gear box to change the angle that my 540 motor goes into my drive gear box. The reason for wanting the 90 degree gear box is to get a little more clearance. My crawler uses the one-motor-on-each-axle setup(like the xtm x crawler).

About all I can recommend is to try looking at making some custom, by using differential parts out of an axle. A pinion and bevel gear layout. Or maybe you should look around at RC robot part stores. I am sure something like that exists. Battle bots use a lot of neat gearboxes and such. That might be your best bet.

Have a look at any R/C model heli that has a shaft driven tail rotor. They have a nice set of bevel gears in the tail gearbox and they run all day at high speeds so they're pretty robust. Should be able to find something suitable.

Cheers.
