Default stretching a scorpion?

Anyone in here thought about removing the coil from the coil overs and using the shocks as link attaching them to the middle link and buying replacement coilovers for the regular mounting positions.

Im running the shocks as long arms on the front end. To get it to work correctly you need to mount the shocks with the narrow eye facing out on the ball joint @ the upper mount. On the lower end you will have to cut the stock arms off after the upper eye and sand it down. Cut off the bottom end of the shock mount and shoving stock arm in there. Run screws in @ 90 degrees and glue up the bottom end. If this isnt very understadable I will get you pictures. This would be a great setup with some tlt shocks. Just be sure to use a bic pen to make a spacer to keep the shock extended.
