Default OLD noob?

Been away for awhile couple years I guess. Found out the NN and the stick are discontinued

Looked about a bit, and realised I'm way behind.
Still running my TLT based rig.

So would someone kindly inform me of what the latest hot ticket setup is?
2.2 and super please?
Oh any other classes comeup since I've been in a cave?

It's good to be back, now where's that star?!?!

The Enroute BERG crawler is the new sensation thats sweeping the nation! Its basically a mini clod, just able to run in the 2.2 comp class. You have front AND rear dig with the berg, and they are insane smooth. Heres the link to the thread on mine if you would like to take a look

Hey man nice to see someone I recognise.
The post above about what's a stick, I almost had a stroke.
Still in an area with no local comp's but I can amuse myself.
I actually own land now so a rock garden is in the works, and the wife (boss) said it's ok.

Thanks for the replies so far I'll check out that berg.

MOA is the hot setup in 2.2 right now. Newage, Hot Racing and RC4WD all make very comp worthy axle sets in about the same prce range. Losi is supposed to be making a 2.2 shafty but thats not due to drop until march or april.

Clod based supers are still the thing but chassis is everywhere right now. One of the nicest ones i saw latley on here was using a Reign K2-5 scaler chassis so its more of whatever you feel like running.

Theres also the Losi Mini Rock Crawler (MRC) 1/18 scale that basically started the 1.9 class. No dig, no moa, 8.5inch WB, 1.9 rims.

Welcome back
