| LOSI Crawler Shock Replacement Parts
Anyone know where to get replacement shock caps for the 4" Losi Crawler Shocks. Its the plastic part that screws into the shock body. Mine is stripped and leaks like heck and will eventually pop off again.

Thanks. I guess while I am upgrading I should ask if there is an aluminum version of a shock cartridge that fits the losi shock? Last edited by j33pownr; 03-24-2009 at 02:17 PM. |

Someone made one years ago but never worked as good as the stock plastic ones. Get some RPM shocks tools for the Losi shock too, makes it way easier to tighten down without stripping them out. http://www.rpmrcproducts.com/product...s/wrenches.htm |

It didnt strip when I was tightening. I have always used a deep socket that I have that fits fine. Same for running the threaded spring retainer up and down. When dirt is in the threads its a pain to do by hand. It happened just after I got some 45t motors and went to 3s lipo and was driving like I still had 55t on nimh batts so carnage ensued. Who knew . Its going to cost me $20 for replacements which will fail again. Or some 108mm Integy MSR11 Rock Crawler shocks I found while searching that have ball ends on both sides for $30. Anyone ever run these ?http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...dID=INTC22913S Yes I know the link is the 88mm version. |

I just tighten mine by hand and then I just use some pliers to get it tight. I recently had to replace my caps as well.

I have ran Losi shocks for years. I have had maybe two leak out of 60 shocks and i use them on race monster trucks jumping 5 feet high just trying to break them. Just make sure you don't cross thread or over tighten and you should never have a problem.
