| AE monster gt shocks-worth it?
They're going pretty cheap on Ebay, so would they be worth looking into? Granted, anything other than stock tlt shocks are going to be an improvement, but are they as good/better than stock 'pede rear shocks? I found an auction on ebay, all 8 reservoir shocks for 25$ I figure that isn't bad since tower wants 19$ for 2 of 'em.

I run them on my TLT and they work great. I cut the fake resevoirs off, drilled the piston out and run 15wt shock oil with the stock blue springs on my RBX chassis.

I didn't know the res. weren't functional, still look the part though for the scale-ness of it all. So 8 of 'em for 25 bucks Buy it now isn't too bad?

yeah thats what tower is sellin 'em for, so you didn't get boned, you just didn't get the ebay buy of a lifetime :-P (not that its a buy of a lifetime...an old mounatineer NIB for 35$ would be the buy of a lifetime!)
