| Downtown's Delrin Links Reviewed Here is a review of Downtown’s Delrin links (1 = poopoo; 2 = ok, I can make it work; 3 = It is what I expected; 4 = Wow, slick; 5 = Yeah baby, YEAH!) Downtown was kind enough to give a full set of these to us military-types. The only thing needed is a set of Revo Ball ends (#5347). I have put these on my AX10, but work on just about any 2.2. Packaging and Parts: 3 Simple and to the point, as requested, I received a set of straight links and a set of bent links. It was not marked on the package what kind of ball ends to use. Fit and Finish: 5 The first thing I noticed was the 4mm set screws (stock Axial uses 3mm). The second was how much thicker the Delrin was compared to the stock aluminum. Setup: 5 The Revo ball ends fit perfectly. Once I had the links together I was a little worried about them fitting on my AX10 without binding, or having to come up with a work-around from my current setup, but they are a direct fit. They add about 1/4" to the overall length. I don't think I'll be breaking ball ends any more. On the rocks: 5 These links have to be one of the best upgrades I have gotten for my Axial. They look good, fit good, and really beef up the suspension. They effortlessly slide over the rocks, no hang-ups and no binding. Overall, I give them a 4.5, the 0.5 was removed for nothing saying what ball ends to use on the packaging; I don’t think anything is perfect and had to dig to find a negative comment. I did email Downtown asking which ones to use, he promptly responded. Downtown’s Links are the poo, if you get a set you won’t be disappointed. Here is what I received after I put the Revo ball ends on (sans packaging): Downtown's Links VS Stock links Stock links on my AX10 (was doing some work on the tranny too) Downtown's Links installed: |

I've been beating my rig and everything else is wearing out but my Downtown links. Those fatties are strong and have eons of skid time before wearing out. I got my links with the intention of using revo ends so personally, I give them a 5 outta 5 all around.

| Um, I wasnt bullshitting. I know that nabil had one of Downtown's first sets and some of them had a blem in the bend, A potential weak spot. My first set did and i never broke one. Was a potential weak spot and we all knew it. But seeing how that was on about... oh 3 sets its not really an issue anymore Downtown's links won midwest |
