Default front axle problem

ok when i first got my nylint the front axle worked fine and it never clod stalled. But now when ever i turn the tires wont turn. its like the steering motor is going bad or something. I think that the steering motor is taking to much power and the drive motor doesn't have enought to spin the tires??

what do you think the problem is?

and any other comments

Sounds like your stub axles are stripping. Not much else could cause that to happen.

tear it apart again and check the pins that go in those drive hubs (stub axles). if they are loose use some super glue to keep them centered. they might be working themselves to one side or another and causing the hubs to bind.

Default stubbys

ya i know that it is the stubbys now because i can go stright on flat ground and turn and the front axle locks up.

So How do I go about getting replacements??

thanks

May not be the stubbies. WHen mine did that it was the actual gear sliding over on the solid axle and causing the gear on the motor to do this / instead of looking like this | ....which caused binding. I put a washer on one side of the gear to keep it from sliding to the right or left when you turn. No problems since. I put a post about it in here somewhere.
