Default Competition class question

I am going to start doing comps and I was wondering what is the difference between a stock class rig and a mod class rig?

thanks

Not sure, I haven't seen those classes in the rules.

Default I Understand.

I think you want to know how to change a stock crawler into a comp level rig. 1. Buy a good quality rock crawler. 2. Buy a metal gear steering servo, because plastic one break easy. 3. Get a rock crawler motor and speed control. 4.Buy soft tires with alittle height, because you get better clearance and a better grip on the rocks. 5. Strap extra weight inside your wheels. 6. Move most of the weight of your truck over your front axles. Helps when climbing up hill. 7. Buy shortier shocks. This will help with your center of gravity. In rock crawling you don't want to be top heavy. 8. Buy you a four link plate for the rear axle. This will help your backend stay down. Some people make their front axle a four link also. 9. Buy you the smallest comp legal body you can. This will make your truck lighter and help your wheels move better when pushed up on rocks. Those are a few things you can start with. I hope that helps.

No...I think he's asking what the difference is between the classes that I, along with Jason, have never heard of...though he may be asking about novice vs pro?

Stock would be like it came out of the box. Mod would be a modified rig.

Novice is another name for "noob", while amateur/pro/etc would be for more experienced drivers.
