To begin with, I would hold off on getting the SWX chassis with the Axial. Why you ask? Well, you should just drive it in its basic stock form for awhile till you get the feel of it and then decide on where you want to go next. Carl |

i know im going with an ax10 for my first "real" crawler... my summit is what got me into it, now i have a pretty good course in my back yard and want another rig for it. the great thing about crawlers is, (at least i think) you can use parts from your axial to make a different/custom crawler in the future. putting together your first crawler just from parts and a chassis is a pretty daunting challenge, so IMHO its a great idea to start with an ARTR or an RTR like the axial to get going |
