Question Shock question

I am going to upgrade my shocks. I noticed many of the comp rigs I've seen run fuel tubing on there shocks. Most are running losi 4" shocks or Traxxas Big Bores. I know this is to restrict articulation. I'm wondering though if going with a shorter shock like an 80-90mm, instead of a 4" shock with fuel tubing would be a simpler way to go to restrict articulation and lower my COG. Any thoughts? Does anyone see my logic?

Using a shorter shock, you might not need the tubing, or a smaller piece at least. Also depends on what ride hieght you want. I changed from Losi's to GTR's for that reason.

I am using 4" Losis with a bit of fuel line in my AX10, but am running 3 1/2" Losis on my Berg to get the height I want.
All just depends on what you want your ride height at Kelly.
