| Flex Question *Pics*
Hey guys, my gecko pro chassis just came in and I've got a couple questions... Does the "flex" or "articulation" come from the slop in the links? I labeled it in this picture: Because one side gets a lot more flex than the other, illustrated here: compared to this: It seems like its binding somewhere... Is this something to worry about? How can I fix it if i need to? |

Wait till you get your axles and shocks on because that will determine your articulation. I would double check the ends to make sure they don't have any debris or burrs in them. |

So do u guys think i should try and find the source of limiting flex on that one side or does it not really matter?

antoher thing you should check is the hiem joints on our links. if one link has miss-alinged hiems, then i can see that messing up your flex.

He's talking about the joints. 1:1 rigs use heims, so thats what they're like. Since the mounts are parallel, the rod ends should be parallel to each other as well. Last edited by bobbo27; 10-19-2005 at 03:09 PM. |

Try unscrewing one of the ball joints a half turn, or whole turn.
