| Budget Build Rock Buggy fast Thang TON O PICS
Well here is my latest. Built a frame 3/16" Solid Rod. Bolted to the stock axial frame. Shorten up the rear. I wanted to make a frame that would hold my Stick packs and something with some speed to have some fun in. I have a 7 cell 3300 in it now. A 27t Axial Motor, Soon to be an old Stinger 20t. Locked front and rear. Rustler shocks with internal springs, shorts in the front longs in the rear. Thin lexan panels covered with brushed aluminium vinyl. Plastic Screen Mesh. Pretty fun so far. I would like to make it waterproof with some big mud tires and let it rip. Anyway enjoy the pics!! Last edited by skullking; 05-24-2009 at 07:05 PM. |

That looks like fun! Like a cross between a rock buggy and an offroad kart, nice work

I actually like the look of the crawler. What was the total out of pocket cost for the crawler? If you decide to make more cages let me know the price point |
