| bigger back yard course
i have added a lot to the rock pile - there are a lot of rocke here - these were gathered all from my property scattered all about - some are from where i dug the pool - but most were on the surface and just had to be moved - none by hand all with a small back hoe and it has been approved by smokey - lots more rocks to come - stay tuned Last edited by activethunderrc; 07-20-2009 at 09:49 PM. |

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE KIND WORDS - the bear was at the back door sniffing around - he's a small one only about 250 to 300 lbs - the rock course is about 20 feet away from the kitchen window - and the grill and tent are right there too - my wife took about 25 pics of him - i was at a crawling comp at the time - but he has been back a few times since - harmless - |

if you have real rocks to use dont plan - i filled the bucket and dumped - tried to carwl if you cant make it use a filler rock - mine started from clearing the yard - i wanted more lawn and less useless woods - i left a lot of woods for hunting but around the house id being cleared - so began a pile of rocks before i even got a crawler - i thought rock crawling was gay - i'm a dirt oval racer - been doing that for years - then i found this site and made a few friends on here and i got a crawler - yeah now i'm an addict - lol - i add to the piles you see almost every day - some rocks are so big i had to drag them with a chain i couldent pick them up - all in all it has been fun to build and work on - i belong to a club and the club founder came up to crawl and about 8 other guys and it was a blast - we had a mini comp and bbq and of course beer and a great time was had by all - i look at rocks in a different way now - and with the help of you guys here on rcc i am planning on a new comp rig build for next year - tons of info and lots of good people - so i'd like to thank the members of rcc for all there help and insperation - any body that would like to visit the pocono mountains in pa is more then welcome to stop by for the day and enjoy what i have here - i built it to share with anyone chris |
